Keep Your Head Down! Good Advice?
The Problem

Your biggest problem is "topping the ball" or "hitting it thin". Someone proceeds to tell you: keep your head down!

Keeping your head down is probably the most misunderstood concept in golf. The key to solid shots is actually keeping your chest down. We often tell players to keep their chin up and chest down so they can rotate their body and extend their arms through impact.

The Drill

Make sure that you are in a good forward tilted posture, then try hitting half shots with your eyes on the target to start. Keep your eyes on the target and hit shots where you finish with your arms, club , belt buckle, and eyes facing the target.

The Solution

By keeping your head up and your chest down and eyes moving toward the target, your body will be able to rotate and arms will be able to extend, creating compression.
